Introduction
For my first Apollo project this school year I wanted to learn more about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. This topic interested me because there are many conspiracy theories about the assassination, and I also wanted to get a better understand of how and why John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
History
For the history portion of my projected I created a mind map to reflect that research I have accumulated. The mind map I created contextualized the assassination of John F. Kennedy. I split my mind map up into two sections, which were identity and politics. I then split both politics and identity up into two more sections which compared the section prior to and after the assassination. Through out my mind map I talked about events such as the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Warren Commission. I also talked about events that happened during Lyndon B. Johnsons Presidency such as the Civil Rights Act, Medicare and Medicaid, and the 25th Amendment. I created a document that goes into my detail about my mind map. The document also contains a link to my mind map.
Art
For the art portion of my project I created a drawing of John F. Kennedy. I based my drawing off of a photo I found of him online. To created my painting I first printed out the photo of hm and then gridded the photo and my canvas. For there I traced out the basic shapes that made up the photo. After that I added more detail to his face and then I began to adding shading and volume. I feel that the drawing durned out better than I intended it to be, but there is still room for improvement.

Language Arts
For the language arts portion of my project I wrote an opinion editorial that I explained why I believe President Donal Trump is assassination his own presidency. In my op-ed I talked about how the president is disappointing the citizens of America through the choices he made during COVID-19 and through the sexist and racist comments he makes. I also talked about the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and how her death will affect the Senate.
